How it works.

 

We accept consignments Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

  • Spring & Summer items: February - July

  • Fall & Winter items: August - January

Items, to be accepted, must meet the following standards:

  1. Clothing must be freshly laundered, pressed, and on hangers. Wrinkles do not sell!

  2. Style must be current with acceptable fabrics.

  3. All items must be free of stains and odors (mothballs, perfumes, cigarette smoke, pet hair, etc.)

  4. All household and other goods must be clean and in good condition.

  5. Clothing should be no more than 3 years old.

Please do not take offense if we find it necessary to say no to some of your items. We rely on past experiences of what sells and space considerations to make our selections.

Pricing and item ( both initially, discounts, and promotions) is at the discretion of etc.

  • The consignor will receive 40 percent of the sale price after an item is sold. Furniture, and some specialty items will be handled on a 50-50 basis.

  • Consignors may collect for items sold by coming to etc. during working hours.

Length of time for consignments is 60 days. At the end of 45 days the consignor may come to the shoppe, locate and retrieve their unsold items. A $10 fee is charged for items picked up before 45 days. Unclaimed items become the property of etc. after the 60 day period. The 60 day period is not applicable to fine jewelry or furniture. All such items will also be discounted by store personnel, not through our regular discount system.

The consignor will pay an initial registration fee of $5 for registering an unlimited number of items. The fee is renewable on your anniversary date.

etc. will use care but is not responsible for consignment items in case of theft, fire, or damage. Consignments left at etc. are at the risk of the consignor.

When you bring your items in for consignment, you will fill out and sign a form that contains all of the information listed above.
